Windows ducks the game by 80% the moment any app uses your microphone. One setting prevents it for this voice chat, Discord, Teams and every other app. 30 seconds, one time only.

Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar -> Sound settings -> scroll to the bottom -> More sound settings.

Communications tab -> select "Do nothing" -> OK. This is the important one.

Playback tab -> right-click your headphones -> Properties -> Advanced tab -> untick Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device.

On the same Playback tab: set your headphones as the Default Device and the Default Communication Device.
Your browser will ask for microphone permission.
Hold Space to talk
No audible neighbours.
Walk within 60 m of another player to hear them.
